NIAC is the de facto Iranian lobby in the U.S.. They unwisely initiated a lawsuit against a journalist who accused them of failing to register as a foreign agent. During discovery they had to hand over a whole lot of emails that apparently go a very short way towards exonerating them. But way more interesting is the fact that these (now public) emails also show the depth of their cooperation with "pro-Israel" J Street in lobbying against Iran sanctions and, inter alia, opposing the appointment of Dennis Ross as an envoy to Iran. Too Jewish, I guess.
